Short Legs

Post by edgus347 »

I'm not a tall person so on my goldwing's I have to stand on my toes, except for my trikes. I have 5 goldwings in all. I have a problem with one with the side stand. I can't reach it with my toes. I think that the stand is further out than it's suppose to. I'm going to make another piece to weld to the stand and give me a little bar to use with my toes.

Welcome, Oh rider with "Duck's Disease". One of the solutions to riding a GW, if you have shorter legs is to think about shaving some off the seat foam. This can bring your legs closer together, and/or to reduce the height slightly. It is not recommended to lower the suspension, and you would have to ask the experts "WHY?". Not being able to find your kickstand sounds like a different problem though, unless it has worn away.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.
