Custom Audio cables for J&M/GL1500

Post by Wingryder1 »

I have open face helmets with older style J&M audio headsets that clamp on the helmet and a one piece cord plugs in to the Goldwing. Din plug on the bike end and right angle 5 pin job on the helmets. Not sure of model numbers as mine are long ago worn off.

Where can I buy matching plugs to build your own custom cords. ? The "din" plugs on the bike end are no problem but finding that right angle 5 pin plug to plug into helmet.. not sure where to look.

Or can one buy aftermarket audio cables that are not 60.00 a pop?

thanks

It's not available anywhere. That connector is proprietary to J&M, specifically so that you can only buy their cables to work with their headsets.
