Help identify this truck Please...

Post by virgilmobile »

This is way off topic,sorry..I need help to identify what kind of truck this is...It's a 2 door compact but I can't identify the grille...
Has anybody seen a small truck like this...Would anybody happen to know the make/model/possible years...
Yes it was used to transport stolen items from where I work...

It looks like a 2003 Ford Ranger, I had one of those some time ago.

Ford Ranger or Mazda Pickup was what it looks like to me...
I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.

Shouldn't be too hard to spot, noticeable size crease in the passenger side hood.
Also that paper in the windshield makes a nice FLAG if it stays a while.... usually does.
They'll be late risers... check apt. buildings in the morning.

I'll be reviewing Monday with the owner at the full DVR recording.I got this picture via remote.
They were on site 2 times that night.Well planned.Took 4 hours to get the job done. Not a smash and grab,Motor home and travel trailers untouched.

Definitely a Ford Ranger, the grille is not right for a Mazda.

Another unique feature, look at the wheels on the left side - looks like the rear is an aluminum rim, the front is something different. At least from the side view in the picture.

Good luck with your investigation. Hope you get em. I hate people who make a living on the backs of hard working folks by stealing from them. THIEFS SUCK!

Thank y'all so much.
This person and helper were arrested.
Not a local fellow. He cruised the business areas, cutting fence to gain access and then came back hours later.
Well planned but set a pattern to follow. Our city Police picked up on this.
He hit over 15 locals and sold the goods the next day with the help of a "local".
All is good.Bad guys go to jail.
We did loose 2 storm generators.
Note to some..Some camera systems only store video for a short time.
Get it saved right away.
And move the camera right up in there face.Just like the bank does.A overhead picture sucks.

As time goes on (not to mention the news giving away secrets) the thieves learn how to beat the system(s).

Glad you get'm. Hope ins. covered the losses.
