Best chromed ABS

Post by Corkster52 »

I have a number of chromed pieces on the GL1500 I bought from a guy last year that the chrome is bubbling up on and looks like crap. I don't mind the chrome so much, but the bubbles make it look pretty cheesy. Is there a vendor that sells the best quality chrome replacement parts (Show Chrome,Add On, BigBike, etc.) ? I don't mind paying a higher price for a quality product, but don't want to have to do it twice. Thanks

I definitely won't buy Kury chrome. Pure junk. Worse yet is their poor excuse of a warranty.... if you have the original receipt and it's under a year.
Are any one better? I don't know.
Me, I'm done buying chrome. I don't own my wing to show it at the bars, I ride past them and enjoy riding and getting more smiles per mile with more in the tank to go further.

I've seen lots peel and bubbles with chrome plated plastic. Might be from spraying high pressure to wash(read that somewhere)
