This maybe the wrong area, but I have looked in loads of places and not found a satisfactory answer.
What is the format of the CD player MP3, Wav ? I want to burn some discs with my own music choice.
My bike is an 2004 1800
Thanks

Re: Burn CD for GL1800
It's neither. The CD audio format predates the use of using CD to store files of any kind. It is a linear, uncompressed digital audio format.gbearth wrote:This maybe the wrong area, but I have looked in loads of places and not found a satisfactory answer.

Most CD burning software will burn an audio CD if you drag MP3's, WAV, or other format of audio files into it. It will do the conversion to the correct format, and write the disc as a CD-Audio disc that a standard CD player will play. Creating a CD-ROM that is just filled with WAV or MP3 files will not work - most CD players will just ignore or reject the disc, unless it is a relatively modern unit that is specifically designed to be able to read this type of disc.
