I have a 1979 GL1000 with a cracked frame. I found a 1984 GL1100 frame locally. Can I swap my 79 GL1000 motor onto a 1984 1100 frame without modification?

The '84 is a 1200. If the frame is an 1100, then yes, you can. If it's a 1200, I don't know. I have zero experience with 1200's.
