Try P B blaster in the spark plug holes acassionally turning it over for a day. If that won't unstick me then it's time for something more drastic.

I read a thread about this problem and it was recommended that you remove the spark plugs, gently lay the bike on its side so that the pistons are facing upward, put 2 or 3 table spoons of automatic transmission fluid into the spark plug holes and let set that way for several days. Turn it over and do the same to the other side. You will want to catch the ATF when you turn it over. You will have to change oil when you are done. Good luck. :D :D

I don't know if you have Seafoam available but that will free them up also. The automatic transmission fluid will work also. It contains some of the best chemical cleansers you can find. If you have ever torn down an automatic that wasn't completely burned up you would see how really clean the insides are. Good luck.

An old man told me once that,"kerosene will unstick anything". I can't say whether it will or not, but I can say, "old people have wisdom".
My exercise bike is a goldwing.

PB blaster is a penetrating lube

http://www.blastercorp.com

I worked in a motorcycle shop for 8 years. We worked on bikes ( old, sitting for a long time) that other (new bike) wouldn't work on. This stuff really works.

Circlip,

When crossing the ocean we sometimes forget that many products are not as available as in US. And you have some that we don't.
Another commercial product is Kroil if available.

Here is a website with a homemade brew and suggestions of other homemade brew that may be better: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a- ... ating-oil/

As I recall the acetone and ATF together is supposed to work well. As is the case with any chemical be very careful and wear protective gear.

Try Forte Advanced Formula GasTreatment, a couple of tins in a full fuel tank and drive, it works while you drive. It is worth ringing Forte's Technical Helpline, unusually for Helplines they are helpful.
Full details at forteuk.co.uk . The Tech Helpline no is 02476 421131.
I've used them lots of times.

Let us know how you get on,

Sid
