I wanted to alert the members about two great sources for parts that I have come across while sourcing for my '83 GL1100A (which should be on the road soon).
APF Motorcycle Salvage (www.apfmcsalvage.com) in Fresno, CA. has a huge selection of parts from many types of bikes. Very nice folks and willing to help. Pete Biddy at (559)-237-6875. The biggest problem is that much of it is not marked as to where it came from, but they will help you look. They also said they ship all over the world.
Second, is American Hose & Fittings ( www.americanhose.com)in Kent, WA. (253)-872-8080. I needed the rear brake line for my Wing, and after searching the web, APF and everywhere I could think of, they made me up the brake line(had the fittings I needed) in 10 minutes, and the cost was(believe it or not) about what "new" was back in 1983.

Re: parts sources
If they're not already in there, please put them into the vendor database so that other people can find them when they are looking for parts!

Will do, I didn't know I was supposed to, but consider it done.
