My valk is a 1998. I am looking for the service manual. Is the 1997 as good a manual as the 98?
I know on the gl1100 there were slight differences in each year. Is this true of the Valkyrie?
Since my bike is pretty stripped I know some sections would not apply to my bike.

There may be slight differences, but for the most part the manual is going to be the same. I can't really answer to the Valk as I don't know it like I know the Wings. You could always just purchase the 98 manual if you wanted to be sure to get the most accurate one.

I found a 97 manual for $25.00 shipped. So I couldn't pass it up.
I will pass it on with the bike when spring comes- If I can sell the bike.
