I have a 1999 GL 1500 Aspencade with the extended windscreen. My wife complains that her head gets buffeted by the wind. I have seen in the Wing World magazine a new "flared" windscreen. My questions are 1: Does anyone know if this type of windscreen really prevent the wind from hitting the passenger as advertised? 2: Are there any customer ratings for this product?
Don't want to spend nearly $400 if it's not going to work.

Re: Windscreen
How tall is your wife? My wife is fairly short (5' 2") and when she's on the back of my bike, the buffeting is just at the top of her helmet - and that's with a Tulsa Tall windshield. If she sits normally, she's out of it, but if she sits up tall, the top of her helmet is in it.

Passenger buffeting cure:
F4 Customs +4 windshield w/vent.
Baker Hand Wings
My wife is 5' 8" and this combo was the answer for us on our GL1800.

Well, my wife is actually 5'4" and sits normally and gets hit from about the top of the glared shield on the helmet to the top of the helmet as well as from the sides. Not comfortable for her. Keep in mind she is a new rider. Just wondering if the new f4 flared windscreens work as advertised.
