i want to light my bike up like a christmas tree! any suggestions??

Post by crimsonwing »

hey all just got the poorboy installed, now for lights. as of now i cant see anything on the road due to poor and weak lighting. i need to upgrade to LED's and HID's. I want to be able to see the road very clearly and ALSO see as far ahead of me as i possibly can for obvious reasons. im considering just replacing the bulbs in the original housing and then mounting a whole other set right on top of that along with a pair of flood/fog lights that go on my crash bars or in that area. any suggestions? also i want saddlebag lights, any of you have any cool setups for that?

Make sure the alternator will create enough electricity to charge the battery as well as whatever you add. Be aware that some lights that may fit will not work effectively with the headlight assembly on your Wing. I know SoCal makes a headlight system for the GL1800 that is allegedly brighter.

You may have to install a second battery if you really get carried away with the extra lighting.

Your new alt will handle the addition.

Here is pics of my light I put on. It is now the third pic in ad down. It shows 3 different colors for the outside of the light. Now $34.95 each.
