Escapade Classic Trailer

I just purchased a used Escapade Trailer. The wiring connection has 6 plugs; a row of 4 and a row of 2.
I plugged the 4-row plugs into the standard 4 wire outlet on my truck and all the trailer lights worked fine. I did not use the two other plugs at all. Does this mean that all I need is a 4-plug outlet on my bike?
I do not have any wiring harness on my bike yet, so I wanted to make sure I get the right one. Most sites say I should get the 5-wire isolated harness. Do I also need the 5-to-4 converter? What about the 2 other plugs on the trailer end?

I am not familiar with Escapade Trailers, but I am somewhat familiar with trailer wiring. A 4-wire flat connector is for lights only (running directional and brakes). Five-wire plugs add an isolated ground as this is a common problem with 4-wire plugs. Six and 7-wire plugs are used for electric brakes and/or electric accessories.

Does this trailer have any electrically operated accessories? If so, the last two wires probably feed them.

I too have an "Escapade Classic". It came from the factory requiring 6 total wires from the bike.
Ground
Tail/Running lights
Brake light
Left turn
Right turn
Extra hot wire for factory installed dome (interior) light
I hope this helps.

I believe the two separate wires are for the interior accessory light as you pointed out, which is not installed. The wires are there but no light. I may install one or just use a battery operated light.
