Sena 20S
I am thinking about the Sena 20S for my wife and I. I called the Sena help desk and they said that it was not waterproof, but that it is water resistant and that you could ride through short rain storms. Anyone have experience with this unit riding in the rain? Could you make a duct tape shield to keep water off the device?

Re: Sena 20S
I have the 20S and it works well for phone and music, have not used with intercom. I have had mine bout a year and a half. Prior to a long trip i did extensive research on it waterproofness, and found the lack of. Many had tried only to have their unit not work correctly after. My thinking was, since i didnt know how much was to much, I was not going to try, if rain is expected, i remove and store.
There was discussion about shielding, but at that time no success. The new units may be better also.

newtothe1996wing, thanks for the info. Everything else about the 20S is great. I guess you have to live with the shortcomings.

newtothe1996wing, When you and your wife take the devices off of your helmets in the rain, I guess you stick them into a pocket. Can you still talk to each other?
