Trailer Hitch Saddlebags

Post by rampal55 »

I don't know if that is the correct name. What I want are ideas, plans, advice in making extra storage using saddle bags that attach to the trailer hitch for my 95 GL1500SE. I have seen several of these while traveling and since I have a spare set of saddle bags, I thought I would give it a shot. I also need the mounting frame (tubing) to help me mount the saddle bags. Thanks for your help in advance.

I Googled goldwing saddlebag trailer and found that they are called Tag A Long Wheel-less Trailers. You can buy the frames but...

I know I have seen a How-To article on how to make them but can't find them at the moment. Still looking....

I found something that just might help you. It is a You Tube video. Check it out.
