Head Oil Orifice

Post by wingingit2 »

Does anyone know if the oil orifice in the head of the four cylinder Wings is the same? The part number changes for the 1200's. I may have mixed up 1100 & 1200 parts or lost one. They all use the same o-rings. I don't want to screw up the oiling in my 1200 project. Or maybe someone can measure the hole diameter and overall length for a 1200 orifice???

Thanks for any help in advance

I just ran across this post.
I'm sort'a versed in large engine rebuilding but your question is rather vague. Maybe that's why no one has answered yet.
(also, sometimes it takes 'one reply' to get an answer started)

Posted this at NGW, but adding it here should anyone else run into this. They look the same, but they're vastly different.

1200 has the larger opening, 1000 has cross-drilled holes in small end. (Assume 1100 is like 1000)
