emgo timing belts
emgo timing belts
what are thoughts of using emgo timing belts vs other brands? would you also change belt tensioners at the same time? is there a check for belt tensoners? I have a 90' 1500se ------ thanks

Re: emgo timing belts
i personally have never held emgo products in high regard and would never put their timing belts on my wing. i would use an oil filter if thats all i could find or an air or fuel filter if i had to

Re: emgo timing belts
For timing belts, I would stick to OEM Honda, Gates, or NAPA (which is manufactured by Gates).
Re: emgo timing belts
Thanks for the heads up. I found Gates at my local car supply store----GW3 One, more item - oil filters- I.m very confused, I see pros and cons on the same filter. I'm looking at Wix/ NAPA, Emgo and Super Tech. Which one and why??? ( For my 90' 1500SE at a 100k ) Thanks--GW3

Re: emgo timing belts
I've used both Napa and Emgo oil filters for years with no concerns or complaints.
