Anyone have an idea where either replacement or after market badges and emblems can be found? I have an '86 Aspencade and the gold is flaking off some of the emblems. I am very particular with this bike and hate it when anything is less than perfect. I believe these plastic badges/emblems are electroplated plastic. I'm also curious how these badges are fastened to the bike. Are there pins in the back going into the plastic or are they double sided tape or some other type adhesive?
I've called around the country to some companies in this line of work but they won't talk to me over such a small quantity. Nearest solution I've found is a fella in Australia that makes diecast replicas of badges and emblems that might someday take up the challenge to develop what I'm looking for. There's also some guys in Florida who make a decal that goes on the badges provided you can understand their requirements as to the measurements of the emblems. Personally I would think they could acquire the correct dimensions themselves off used/salvage bikes. You pull the badges off, clean 'em up good, spray paint the black background and then apple the gold lettering then clear coat the heck out of the whole thing to make it last.
Thanks, Brad

I have a cat. that I got at local Honda shop that has alot of them in it. Have you checked this out?
Re: Badges & Emblems
None of the Honda shops in my area have anything so they say. When I ask I just get the "deer in the headlights" look. Any idea where I could find one of these catalogs?

Try Hondarestoration.com They seem to have a good selection for older bikes. Also try Bike Bandit.com. Good luck on your search.
