I cannot get the downloaded electronic manual to work on my Windows 7, even after trying it in all the available compatible modes. Anyone have any suggestions how to make it work? Is there a 64bit version available?
Thanks.

Re: Software question
It doesn't work under Windows 7, and I haven't found a way to make it. However, I used the free Microsoft Virtual PC, set up Windows XP inside it, and it ran fine in there.

Re: Software question
Not sure exactly what that is. Guess I'll have to look into that option. Thanks.
OK, just went to the Windows site to download it and found out that the version of Win7 that I have does not qualify for that "option" to be downloaded.
Guess I'm SOL.

Re: Software question
I'm surprised they don't have the option to run it under Win7, but here is another site that has a great free virtual PC:
http://www.virtualbox.org/
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualb ... 53-Win.exe for Windows systems.
search google for help on installing XP to a virtual drive, or use the help files on the virtualbox web site.
Seems pretty extreme to have to resort to this, but if it works, it works. Good luck!

Re: Software question
It's not that you can't do it with Win7. I've tried all the various virtual settings and it doesn't seem to want to run under any of those settings. I'll explore this latest option as soon as I get some time....daughter's wedding this Saturday so I'll be busy for awhile.
Thanks for the input.

Re: Software question
I have been able to get the software manual to run on Windows 95, so it seems it should work under any from 95 through Vista? Just a note for anyone reading this thread.
