fuel sender
Can anybody tell me if the fuel sender unit from an 1100 or for that matter, any other Goldwing can be used in a 1976 1000? I have two units from 1976 Goldwings and neither unit checks out as good. They were cleaned very carefully bur I can't get proper ohm readings from either one, I have used both analog and digital meters but very erratic readings on both. There doesn't seem to be any available for the 1000 at least not on Ebay, plenty for 1200 and 1500 and also 1800 but not for the 1000.
