I am in need of a particular O-ring for something around the house and thought it might be more practical to buy a kit that'll contain what I may need for the Wing too. There are both standard and metric kits available, but I spotted this one on Amazon.

Re: O-ring kit
Goldwings have special sizes not in the kits. Very few fit on the 83 gl1100. Just decide that you will need to buy Honda parts.
Been there done that.
Western Honda has the best on line parts prices. Yup. Been there done that. I've checked many online and fleebay prices to Western.

Re: O-ring kit
I had luck at the local ACE hardware finding o-rings for the coolant tubes on my '80 GL-1100. Took the tubes with me to the store, the ones I found were "Standard" size (not metric), but they were also "Close enough". They fit well and no leaks.
