Washing her up
I am new to an old ('89) Goldwing and am curious what you guys recommend for washing the road grime off 'the other woman.'

Re: Washing her up
I use a good general car wash then finish off with white (distilled) vinegar in water. Ratio a pint of vinegar to a gallon of water. Once cleaned simply wipe down with a wash leather - no need to make it completely dry as the vinegar evaporates along with the remaining water leaving a streak free shine. This is great for your windshield and wing mirrors and leaves the Chrome bits looking great. There is a slight smell of the vinegar but this soon dissappears after a couple of minutes.
