brake fluid change

Post by hap2 »

If the reservoirs are low, can I just take the lids off & top them up one at a time? It won't get air in the line that way will it?

If the reservoirs are low the first thing to check is the pads, the fluid goes down as they wear. It could probably use a fluid flush too. No it won't get air in the lines by taking the caps off, fluid is heavier than air.

I wish I could find someone around here who'd help me. Everbody (so far) says they will, but they don't.
