Power outlet
Power outlet
I installed a power outlet from Wing Stuff the otherday... It was actually more than a power outlet it was also a cigarett lighter. It took up more room in the left pocket of my Goldwing than I wanted it too. Today I saw a power oulet at Wal-Mart that was just what I wanted. This one sat flush with the wall in the pocket and had the little rubber cover. I bought it for $5 + dollars and it fit right in the same hole and used the same plug and play wiring......

Re: Power outlet
Thats pretty much what I did to both of the wings and the VTX too. Works like a champ.

Re: Power outlet
I got the same thing for my 1500 and use it to power the gps.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.
Re: Power outlet
Can you post a picture of where you installed it?

Re: Power outlet
Unless I missed it, my '86 GL1200 doesn't have an outlet like this. Is it possible to add one?
Re: Power outlet
Really nice install job. Been looking at doing the same to my Wing but hadn't decided where to put it. Now I know. Looks great.
Thanks for the picture.
