Re: scratches
Awhile back someone posted about the benefits of Pledge for taking the scratches out of windshields. Might work in your case, but no promises.

Re: scratches
Pledge is good for cleaning, but I've never heard it used to remove scratches. I suppose it could fill them in slightly and make them less visible?
There are several products intended to remove scratches and haze from expensive airplane windshields like this one that will work just fine on motorcycle windshields and helmet face shields.

I use Plasti-X for the windshield and visor. Does a pretty good job. http://meguiarsdirect.com/imagesEdp/p84711b.jpg

Re: scratches
You'll be surprized how good is to use toothpaste. I used to clean the windshield of my airplane.skidplate84 wrote:does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of annoying scratches on visors of full face helmets? oh and Merry Christmas to all.
Clean the plastic with soap and water, then put toothpaste and wipe it in VERTICAL MOVEMENTS using your hand or a very used piece of clothe.
Regards.

I use Plasti-x also and it does a good job on removing scratches. You can get it at Wal-mart.
