I've not seen H3 LED replacements myself, but being that the only LED headlights in autos are in the exotic high-priced luxury cars, I suspect that unless they're pricey and high-tech, they aren't going to compare in brightness to halogen H3's.

Re: h-3 led replacement bulbs
Like WingAdmin, I have not seen these, but given the current state of LED's I suspect these bulbs would be great if you want other vehicles to see you, but I really doubt they will put out enough light to allow you to see where you are going. I believe a H3 Quartz Halogen bulb still puts out a lot more light than the LEDS, unless you are looking at very expensive LED's!! The lifetime of these top end LED's are much shorter than normal LED's (They will outlast several H3 bulbs, but will fail sooner than normal LED's and will be very expensive to replace). I would stick with the Quartz Halogen for the moment or maybe go for an HID if you want a bit more light.

Hi
I have tried H3 LED and they work well if you only want them so other people can see you. I bought them because I thought I had problems with electrical power. But I found the problems and that had nothing to do with the bulp so I am going back to normal H3. H3 LED only show about 15-20 Wats compare to an normal H3 55Wats.

But in all the small styling lamps I use LED in dif couler and that works. Here is the link http://www.matronics.dk/Kategori/Mcsoot ... s-mm/BA15S
Sorry but I cant find it in englis, but it can give you an idea.

I bought a set of led driving lights only to find out that they are no good at night. They work good for people to see you not for you to see with.
