I was originally looking at a 1985 Limited Edition when I was buying. It's virtually the same bike as the 86 SEI, fuel injected and trip computer. Main difference is the name and paint scheme.

It was a well kept bike and seemed to run well. However, I was warned away from it because of the fuel injection. Honda only used it on a limited number of bikes for a couple of years. It's reliable, but should you need parts for the fuel system, they are rare and expensive. Also, it can be very difficult to find a mechanic who work on it.

In any case, for me it was a deciding factor, for you....your choice.

No point being pessimistic, wouldn't work anyway.

Yup, the SEi's have a nice computerized fuel injection system - but woe is you if it breaks, because replacement parts are rare and expensive. That's the only thing that would steer me away from that particular bike.
