Helmet headset
I'm looking for a headset that has speakers that will fit a Shoei Neotec helmet. I like J & M products, but their speakers are to big for the cutouts in the helmet and stick out too far for my ears. I would like something thin but still with good quality. This is for a wired 5 pin plug on the Goldwing

Re: Helmet headset
Which J&M units have you looked at? I have used pretty much all of them, and their Elite headsets have speakers that are much thinner than the lower-end units.toanogreen wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 5:32 am I'm looking for a headset that has speakers that will fit a Shoei Neotec helmet. '02 GL1800 lives in Dawsonville, GA now.
My son is going to enjoy it for many years to come.
Re: Helmet headset
I have a Shoei Neotec Modular, and am using EdSet's Thunderclap speakers.
removed a bit of foam behind the speakers and velcro'd the speaker direct to helmet,
works fine.

The original Neotec or the Neotec-II?toanogreen wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 5:32 am I'm looking for a headset that has speakers that will fit a Shoei Neotec helmet. If the II model I definitely recommend the Sena SRL. The wife and I have had ours for a year now and think they are GREAT. we just got back from a four day trip and they worked perfectly all day everyday. She's even liking how they seem to be remembering to pair to each other more and more automatically. Not really automatically like with my phone or the Freewire I have for the bike, but definitely easier with no issues. It's probably just familiarity, but still worked every time.
