Paint or powder coat rims ? On my 09 , my rims are looking dated + would like to change the color from stock , bike is like a Ruby / maroon color

I personally like the look of the polished aluminum, but if I had to choose between paint and powder coat, I'd definitely do powder coat, it's much more durable than paint. Most everyone I've ever talked to that did their rims,they powder coated them.

Polished aluminum looks great but is lots of work to keep it 'polished' especially to bring it back.
I went to powder coat a few years ago and it is a breeze to clean.
My 08 Cabernet Red with flat black wheels.

I powdered coated my rims this last fall. Semi gloss black
