Garmin XT Lock up with Basecamp
Recently got a Garmin XT. Updated it with Garmin Express and then launched Basecamp (Version 4.7.3), it recognized the XT and locked up. Found a solution on Garmin's forum for basecamp. In file explorer locate the POI file on the internal storage drive of the XT. Delete the "USCanadaCyclopsSample.gpi" file. Restart Basecamp and it will launch just fine after that.
