Need way to remove glued grips

Post by Prlwng »

Very nice grips on the bike now. PO put them on. Like foam grips. Do not really want to cut these old grips off. Would like to save them.

Anyone know of what to do disolve the glue on the grips? Found that throtle tubes are hard to find.

If you are careful, using a long. thin screwdriver and compressed air you can break the seal/glue away. No guaranty and don't be surprised if you ruin the grip.
