Anyone try a low voltage alarm like the one from Motobatt?

Post by Quick Cal »

I forgot to rob the analog Honda volt meter off the 1200 I just sold so now I need something for my 1500. My plan was to put an analog gauge where I have a blank for the cb. But I think the Honda one is too big. I might try to find a small one.

So I run across the low voltage alarm. Goes off when it hits 12.2v. It can connect to my Battery Tender jr. lead. I hope to have it under the gas cap door. If it goes off you just unplug it and hurry for home,,,lol.

So you guys ever try anything like this? Good or bad? I figure for $14 it's better than nothing until I get a gauge.

I think its a great idea, better than a voltmeter (which I don't look at) and almost as good as a light if the light is in front of you.

Did you get this item and if so how do you like it?
