It’s been a while since I have been here
Haven’t been able to ride at all this past season due to health issues.
My question is, is it beneficial to crank the engine over periodically with the kill switch on to lube up the top end or just leave it alone on the trickle charger ?

Not only is it not beneficial, it can do serious damage.
I might point to all the motorcycles sitting at dealers that are NEW but several years old. no damage is done from the sleep. I think we can trust that wingadmin feller.

I agree, you should listen to the admin. You wouldn't want to deal with a problem in the future because of one wrong modification.
