would not be as spectacular as you think. it would happen in a microsec and if you blink you miss it. I do not know of any powerplant that outputs a million volts. just doesnt exist in reality. And I also witnessed a 35.5 KV buried vaporize a person standing at the top of the hole when it blew. The line was supposed to be 2 blocks away.......... Dude standing there was GONE.........................VAPORIZED. NOTHING LEFT BUT a puddle of liquid. Imagine having to tell the man's wife he died and there is no body !! Yea I HAD that job...........and the memory isnt so fun either.

I always enjoy technical posting by WingAdmin and DenverWinger. You can trust them... they know what they are talking about... sometimes seriously, and sometimes humorously. I'm an old guy (80 yo) whose initial training was about vacuum tubes, but now still consulting about digital era factory automation projects. Over the years I've been amused by the layman's misunderstandings about physics and electricity. (Not bragging here, as there are many other fields and skillsets that I know very little about)
Typically terms like volts, amps, watts, power, energy are interchanged with casual abandon. Sometimes I like to toss out this "theory": Electrical circuits take two wires, a source and a return path. For example, the power company gives your house power on one wire, and simultaneously takes it back on the other wire. The current ends back with them, yet they still send you a bill. No new electricity has been created in years, as they just recyle it to other customers. A lot of folks don't get that I'm being facetious, and become upset at such a "revelation".
Great forum here... information, education, humor, entertainment, and comraderie.

Ah and as I read your reply I thought of all the gentlemen that pioneered the way, Tesla, Edison, and many more.
I love to talk about ohms, mohs, henry's, farad's, and LSI Integrated chips and there uses. Fascinating really..........but ya can never STOP learnin.........at least in this field.

If you mean coaxial power connectors (like found on a lot of electronics), sounds good.
If you're talking about the crimp connectors found at car-parts places, you'll be SAAAAH-REEEE . . !
For gloves, you REALLY REALLY REALLY need a connector that will slip-disconnect very easily, OR a connector that is attached to something like your trousers belt.
I rolled in on an accident once where the rider had one broken wrist and one sprained wrist, courtesy of the twin-barrel connector supplied with his heated vest and gloves. When he ejected, the cord yanked at the gloves, injuring the wrists and dragging him along with his crotch rocket before they finally disconnected somewhere in the slide.
Any connector that requires enough force that you actually NOTICE to disconnect needs to be attached to the body, not the hands. That's why DIN connectors never got popular for helmet audio on copcycles -- the 4-pin 1/4" phone plug separates, the DIN plug ties the helmet to the bike, with a significant chance of c-spine injury during an eject. If you wear a helmet with DIN umbilical, I URGE you to loop the cable through your trouser belt.

40 inches. Remember it plugs into a tender connection (sae). So you got that length too, then your usb cable length.

That distance woll work perfectly for my gf. On my 1500ill measure from where I have the plug in. If necessary, can always use a USB extension, I have a few handy.

Too bad, looks like it could be a good port set.
