I just purchased 3 show chrome covers for the radio and 2 others. I just want to know if they can be mounted in this cold weather with the 3M tape that comes with it or do I have to wait for warmer weather ? Other choice is if I use a hair dryer to warm up the surfaces of the GL1800 dashboard ?

I would want to do it at something close to room temperature.Motogordo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 7:12 pm Jan. 8, 2022

Also important is to remove any grease or oil - I would use some isopropyl alcohol to clean the surfaces before applying the adhesive.
Personally, I would not install these on my bike. In fact, I removed items like this from my bike when I bought it - because I find them absolutely blinding when the sun gets behind you.
