Recommend a good quality air gauge please

Post by FluffyDog6 »

I'm looking for a good quality air gauge that doesn't cost a fortune.

You would think such a thing is possible, but alas, reading reviews on Amazon, it is not.

Even the $50+ units have issues.

Anyone have a secret source for good air gauge -- analog or digital?

I feel your pain.
I've used the Stockton air gauge with consistent accurate results and I really like the JACO air gauge/inflator.
It also helps if you've multiple bikes to have different adapters and/or 90 degree chucks.
See below for links.

When there is something I need, I always check the Product Review forum on this site. Just so happens there is an extensive review of JACO products:

I use this one. Bought it from Harbor Freight many years ago.
No batteries to go bad. Chuck locks onto valve stem.

Unfortunately, HF no longer carries it but I found this one on Amazon
George in Jersey.

That gauge I reviewed in that post is still my favorite. Super quick and easy to use, extremely accurate, and sturdy. And definitely less than $50: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C25C4CQ/?tag=goldwingdocs-20

I'll have to look into these suggestions.

It is frustrating to find so much made in China stuff being passed under respectable old-school brand names.
