HID conversion question

Post by Gearsandguitars »

Hi folks. Im new to the forum, so I hope this is the correct place to post my question. I have a 1990 GL 1500, and the head lamp is much too dim for night riding. Fine on a lit interstate, but I like the quiet backroads. Saw a video on line by a fellow named Cruiserman, where he used a system called Goldwings HID. It was a plug and play system that required no splicing, etc. I searched online and couldn't find that product anywhere.( The video was 9 yrs old) Is there a simple system like this available that I could install without much hassle? Could someone point me in the right direction on where to look? I would appreciate any help you folks could give. Thanks

HIDs have come and gone. LEDs pretty much replaced them. The Admin here has a few good articles on light conversions.

Thanks Ghost. I found the info I needed in one of the afore-mentioned articles, and ordered the set that you posted. Thanks for the help guys, and happy trails.
