Yuasa batt charger Q’s

Post by Wingdad75 »

Got a Yuasa 900 smart shot charger in a box when I bought my 1500. My question is will it work on a AGM battery? Wanted to make sure before I used it.

From a ten year old reply on Amazon: "This charger is one of the few that holds voltages at a safe charging level for today's smaller, state of the art, AGM and Gell Cell batteries."

I do read where they might not have a long life expectancy...the charger, that is. Luck to ya!

It was free so thought I’d give it a whirl if it worked on my wings AGM battery. Thanks. 🤙🏼

If you can't find out from on line searches, I guess the best way is to just try it and see what happens. Keep a close watch with a volt meter though.
