vacuum advance unit

Post by racer59 »

When I suck on the vacuum hose leading to the advance unit it does effect the way the bike runs. BUT, when I suck on that hose it does not hold that vacuum that I created. Should it?

Yes it should hold a vacuum and change the timing.Starting at 1.6" and maxing out at 3.8".I guess that vacuum should be avaiable at the hose from the carb.

The vacuun advance canister is leaking
