Intercom adapter

Post by wingman60 »

Does anyone know if an adapter is made for an intercom cable to go from a 7-pin to a 5-pin? I had a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager and recently traded to go back to Goldwing. The intercoms in our helmets have a 7-pin plug and the Wing is a 5-pin. The lower cord on the helmets is permanently attached to the unit so it can't be unplugged and exchanged. Any help is appreciated. I am starting to think that we may have to buy new headsets. The Wing is a 2003.

I checked their site but they currently don't have a 7-pin adapter. The Honda dealer is going to contact J & M to see if they have a replacement mic with cord. Thanks for the input, though.
