Anyone have a fork spring tool?

Post by Quick Cal »

I know I can build one out of wood. But I kinda wanted something more professional,,,lol. I want to build something that resembles the Honda tool.

Anyone willing to share pics and measurements? Thanks

I married my "fork spring tool"...

(my wife screwed the cap on while I compressed the spring. I bet it would have been funnier to watch than it was doing it.)
That's not just a motorcycle. It's a Gold Wing.

I always just got on the bike above the forks with a speed wrench and pushed and threaded the cap on.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.

I always stood on the bike over the forks and pressed and put the cap on with a speed wrench.

Too late,,,,lol.

Actually. I'm going to take the forks out to rebuild them.

And I'm thinking about adding some kind of bracket to the tool to make it where I could clamp in in a vise maybe?
