water in fuel tank

Post by shea.ferrell »

I recently had my '82 Aspencade in the shop for what I thought was a starter problem. Mech said he found water in the bowls of carbs. After he drained the carbs, the bike ran great for a couple of times. now it has symptoms as before.......only starts from a jump. runs smooth in neutral at all rpm, but in gear is really rough. I suspect water again may be the problem. How do I drain the bowls and the fuel tank?

i would eather syphone the gas out of the tank or and some "heat", that stuff you add to your car gas tank in the winter to take the moister out of the gas, and fill with a good well know fuel.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.
