A great example shown of taking off at over max gross weight, and struggling to make it out of ground effect as a result.

Note also the near-stall condition (visible burbling air on top of the wings) during the dive.

I love how they extend the landing gear JUST before they do a touch and go!

And...the full airframe shake to eliminate excess moisture at 1:20.

Yup,
overloaded, but didn't give up.

I remember a day in Raton, NM at temps above 80°F in my Piper TriPacer before I replaced the old, tired, and worn out 150hp Lyc...... 4 guys, my size, we went up there to watch the horse races.....

I started sweating setting in the stands, leaned over to the other 3 guys and said "if we don't leave now, we won't be able to take off until after dark"

so, we cut it short, and flew home.... flew in Ground Effect for almost 20 miles before we got into cooler air.
