The week following the sale of the Aspen Sentry camper to Scott, I went to Myerstown, PA to pick up my new camper, a white Kompac Kamp Mini-Mate. http://www.jdtrailers.com has plenty photos and a video.
This past Saturday I picked up the GF (with the MMC in tow) in New Bern and rode over to Greenville for a March of Dimes Bikes for Babes Poker Run. Mid-afternoon found us on the road to Goldsboro where we grabbed a beautifully treelined and shaded campsite with table and firepit. I can honestly say the MMC towed like a charm and the only time I knew it behind me was when I would see it in the rearview mirror during curves and turns.
As advertised on the web, it really does set up in about 2 mintues which is about 10 minutes faster than the Sentry. But this time does not included the zip-on awning which has yet to arrive but that's only another 3 or 4 mintues.
Comfort-wise it has a good-sleeping mattress and any idea I had about adding the blow-up air mattress for next week's upcoming trip to PNW is moot. Rosemary did state the MMC has the same amount of bed room and the Sentry had. I did take the cooler rack from the Lil' Clipper Cargo Trailer (made by same folks as the MMC) and install on the MMC.
I also did a couple of interior mods to make it more Cal-friendly.
(1) Glued a 4 inch length of PVC between the right fender well and the rear end to hold a can of outdoor bug spray. Eliminates having to search for the can when "you need it the most".
(2) Behind the opposite fender well of the trailer I glued in a homemade, upright paper towel holder. Ditto the reason.
(3) Took an old net pocketed, storage bag and cut into two pieces. One, with use of velco, I attached to the inside of the entry door to hold things I need "right away" at night---small battery operated lanten that I hang from the ceiling and litter bags. The other has two pockets and I suspense it from the tent's frame/poles to put away "stuff" for the night. You know - wallet, keys, cellphone, etc - the don't want to roll over in the middle of the night.
Here's a few photos from the weekend. Will post mod photos later this week from the Trike Rally in Maggie Valley.

Looks great, Cal! It really does look tiny all folded up. Also looks like a lot of storage underneath when it's all folded up.

Hi, yep, good looking little camper. Few details, wheel size, internal measurements, weight empty and legal load would be interesting. Is it sprung or unsprung.
