This really seems like the cat's meow. However, I see they don't offer it for Bilt helmets that are sold through Cycle Gear. I posted an inquiry on the Pinlock site asking if they offer a universal kit, but I don't expect a reply until at least tomorrow. Annnd I think I know what their answer will be..

Oh well. Doesn't hurt to ask. The product looks very cool.

Does your Bilt helmet shield even have the pins the pinloc shield could be mounted to?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I ended up buying the face shield and rode cross-country with it. With the HJC helmet and shield it didn't change color much. Temps were between 25 and 65 most of the time. It would change more if I left the face shield up and it was perpendicular to the sun's rays. With it down I didn't really notice much difference most of the time, and I had to continue to rely on the built-in sunglasses in the helmet.

No, it doesn't. But I was thinking a universal setup would provide for that. Perhaps a way to install the pins first.

I don't think there is such a setup. It also looks like the only Bilt brand helmets that have pinlock ready shields are for the Force and Power helmets.

Then the actual pinlock shield is separate.
