LEXIN 2pcs LX-B4FM Motorcycle Bluetooth Intercom

For the last 10 years or so, we have been using Cardo-Scala Pro2 Bluetooth headsets on our Wing. Purchased back in 2009, they have been a good system, but recently we are starting to have issues. I did replace the battery in one unit and on the second unit the volume control buttons failed after years of use. Over the weekend I purchased and received a new Bluetooth system. I looked at the newer Cardo and Sena systems, but I felt that they were a bit overpriced. I came across a few different set on Amazon and decided to try out the LEXIN 2pcs LX-B4FM Motorcycle Bluetooth Intercom with FM Radio. Ordered on Saturday and delivered on Sunday!

Installation was really quite easy, size of the unit was just a bit larger then the Cardo system I had, but not too much larger. There were a could differences that were immediately noticed. The Cardo system had a Vox capability, the intercom was off until you started talking and would then kick in. Since the Cardo was an older system, it did not allow music to pay from my iPhone. The Lexin unit has a button you press to activate the intercom between the two (or four) headset systems. Iphone is available for music or phone calls.

Noise cancellation on the unit is really good..no wind noise at all! So far have not tried multiple headset connectivity. Will report more as we get more mileage with the head set!

Follow up! Have been using the headsets since June, mostly two up, but in October, I met up with a friend at Watoga SP in WV. He had also purchased the same headset and we wanted to try the ability to connect all four headsets together. Unfortunately we didn’t figure out how to get us all talking, but we did set the headsets for bike to bike comms. At a distance of better than 1/4 mile the headsets were very clear communications. Even when not in sight of each other, comms were good. For the price of the headset, I believe it was a good choice.

I've had this headset since spring, and use it frequently while riding with my wife (each of us on separate bikes). It seems pretty solid.

I thought the manual had a different setup for a three or four way connection. But I've never tried it.
