Years ago I had the K1, and it was a problem from day 10. So was the K2, which I didn’t buy, as like the K1 it was reported in forums to be buggy. It was clear they were releasing junk products without proper testing. Sucks because they were not cheap. So now the K5, likewise, had issues that are supposedly fixed. It shouldn’t be like that, where people have to troubleshoot new problem products. They should just work, period. I will NEVER buy a product from them.
I've had a K5 (and before that a K3, and a K2) on my bike for years, and I've never had a problem with either the K3 or K5. I did have an issue with the K2, but after I reported it, a firmware upgrade fixed it.
My H5 was a pre-production unit, and obviously I did find a problem with it, but when I reported it, they quickly (the next day!) fixed it.
Unfortunately, with the complexity of today's technology, it's actually pretty common to have products come out with bugs in them. I do a lot of work with music synthesizers, and you would not believe the bug-laden products that are put out today - with years of follow-on firmware updates to fix bugs and add features.
What's great about Innovv is that they actually listen to customers and FIX the problems. Not so for most cheap nameless dashcam manufacturers. You get what you get, and usually there are never any updates to fix all the bugs.
