Heading to Texas in early September

Post by 2002bluewing »

My brother and I are heading to Texas in early September to attend my sons flight school graduations for the Air Force. Can't wait to hit the roadways and do some bike touring. My brother will be on his 2010 wing that may have 7000 miles on it and I will be on my 2002 wing with 80,000 + on it. We like to ride but this will be the longest either of us has done, so I'm sure well have a lot of live and learn situations:) Anyways if ya happen to see two "WINGS" from PA traveling down through the central or southern parts of the US, tag along if you feel the desire or just wave and say HELLO:):):):):):):)

We are in the Hill Country, about 45 miles northwest of San Antonio, if you are going to be in town and have a free day, send us a PM, and we will be happy to show you around some of the best motorcycle roads in the country.

Welcome to Texas in advance! I had the pleasure of passing thru your state on my longest ride from Austin to New York and back. Hope you have as much fun as I did. I wish it had been on a GoldWing but had to settle for my bmw klt1200. Bring your suntan lotion! :D
