Wish I had've gone with you. Maybe next year my good buddy Al and I can join whoever goes

Scott, it was really nice to see your daughter with you this past weekend. She handled her self with poise beyond her years. You and your wife can both be proud of her. I could tell that you and she had a strong father- daughter bond. Great job dad!!

Attached is the route we took on Saturday

I have an app on my phone (Polarsteps) that I have not really delved into much, but I started and stopped it before and after the trip. It looks like it takes periodic locations and saves them. From it, it looks like we either traveled to or very near the following:
Chillicothe 9:10 AM
Kingston 9:40
South Bloomingville 10:05
Logan 10:10
New Straightsville 11:38
Nelsonville 11:53
New Plymouth 12:23 PM
Chauncey 2:55
Millfield 3:00
Stewart 3:16
Guysville 3:26
Athens 3:41
Coolville 3:46
Albany 4:36
Wilkesville 4:46
Jackson 5:23
Ray 5:33
Back to Christopher Inn in Chillicothe at approx 5:55 PM

It was a great trip! The only minor mishap was one person ran out of gas, but the "system" that BlueThunder laid out at the start of the trip make it a mere bump in the road :) :)

A few from Sundays ride to Portsmouth Flood wall murals and then to the Great Serpent Mound.
I still need to finish the roll film, once that is done, I'll get them posted.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but having a vest sure helped for the rides from Chillicothe this past weekend. Jim and I were the only ones to have cooling vests at the gathering and I know they worked well for both of us. I have had mine for a number of years, but have only used it a few times, but as almost an afterthought when looking at the forecast I decided to bring it. A couple of folks have ordered theirs since returning home. This the one I have.

As I was looking around for info on them when I got home, I found the manufacturer's full catalog of products. I had no idea they had this much stuff (even cooling products for pets and horses). Here is the link to their catalog: http://www.technicheinternational.com/f ... 2ea53a.pdf

Will have to put the Serpent Mound on my bucket list.
If you haven't already done so, you need to put "The Bucket" (Big Muskie) on your "bucket list" as well!

WOW - what a trip!
The weekend had me riding 1,469 miles ... in three days!

I met so many wonderful people who I can't wait to ride with again. I have been on five group rides this year and I can honestly say that I enjoyed this one the best.

So many thank you's and honorable mentions were made:

- Thank you to Scott for making this ride possible by keeping this site up and running.
- Lilly, for the best matching outfit to their bike
- Corky, for planning and leading us on such wonderful roads.
- Al, for "blocking" traffic so that the group could keep together.
- Bill, for best estimate for distance on a single tank of fuel
- William, for the most gallons of fuel carried on a motorcycle
- Bob, for having the widest thing to pass....
- Jeff, for surviving his first ride
- Bernie, for playing the best tunes on his yellow trike
- Tony, for best fuel delivery in a remote location
- Jim, for being the "coolest" guy on the ride and doing the best striptease in a public place.

Here are some videos that I made - enjoy!

WOW - what a trip!
Boy, I'll say! Thank you Brian for being an excellent "runner". It made our collection of misfits look like we actually knew what we were doing. Thank you so much for taking charge and laying out an excellent plan on how to get our procession through intersections. I had never seen such a process in practice, but it worked great! Other than 2-4 riders, I had never lead a group like ours. What you...and Big Al of course, accomplished made my part easy. :D :D :D Great videos.

How about we change that to: "surviving my first group ride"?
