Horizons Unlimited Learning and Riding Weekend

Post by themainviking » Tue May 15, 2018 6:28 am

Hey All in Ontario, or anyone within riding reach of Rice Lake near Peterborough, Ontario. Horizons Unlimited is hosting a weekend get together at a Campground/Resort on the south side of Rice Lake, beginning the 24th of May, for four days. Camping is $10 a night, and a food package is available. The Resort has Cabins, Condos and RV Camping spaces. A lot of people present where and how they went about riding here there and everywhere, and there are some presentations on fork maintenance, tire maintenance, self defence for people travelling alone and basic motorcycle skills demos. I have been to one of these in the past and it was a really good time. Info can be found here:

A lot of the folks who attend these are dual sport riders, but we get a few Goldwing riders, who like their adventures on asphalt, myself included.

It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Wing Admin, you could remove this post any time now. Those who wanted to see it probably already have done so, and it will be moot one week from today as the rally will be in full swing, and then gone for another year.
