May 2020 Road Trip - UP Date
Hello fellow wingers, my name is Ken and I am planning a trip to DC in may to visit family and friends. I am going to be riding solo, but was wondering if anyone out there would be interested in going? I am in the Nashville area and planning on leaving Nashville on Monday May 18 and leaving heading back to Nashville on June 19. All are welcome, even if you just want to ride a portion of the way and return back home. It does not matter where you are located on the route I am going to take. For those that want to travel a portion of the trip, we will plan a meet location and time.
If anyone in the DC area would be interested in going to the Tennessee area or would like to ride a portion of the way, you are all welcome. Here is the route and stops I plan to Make, (this could change) subject to any or all riders that may want to go. Here is my phone number ,410-353-4981. I would like to have the trip completely planned by 1 April in order to make any adjustments by 18 April.

Route – Day 1 – Approximately 350 mile ride
Leave Nashville at 8:00 am heading East on Interstate 40.
Ride 70 – 80 miles and take break.
Ride another 70 – 80 miles and break.

Ride until we reach Knoxville and break for lunch. (Approximately 200 miles from Nashville)
Servile, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg (ride thru) and continue on. ... gement.jpg ... gJJNvD_BwE
Ride app. 59 miles to Yoder’s Country Market for break
15275 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Bulls Gap, TN 37711

After Yoder’s, continue 40E for another - 70 – 80 miles and break, this will put us at 81N
Continue 81N to Wytheville Virginia another 70 – 80 miles and bed down for the day.

Route – Day 2 - Approximately 325 mile ride
Leave Wytheville Virginia at 8:00 and ride to Christiansburg about 70 miles and break
Ride to Lexington, VA another 70 – 80 miles and break
Ride another 65 miles to Harrisonburg and stop at Shenandoah Heritage Market
121 Carpenter Lane, Harrisonburg, VA 22801
Ride 50 – 60 miles to Middletown, VA to Interstate 66E, VA and break
Ride another 70 to 80 miles to Fairfax, VA and break
Another 30 miles to downtown DC

This ride will take us past the Smokey Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Mountains
